LEGENDS NEVER DIE
R.I.P. Dimebag Darrell, Nathan Bray, Erin Halk & Jeffery Thompson, the men that lost their lives five years ago today at The Alrosa Villa in Columbus, Ohio.
Dimebag had nothing but to give, and touched so many peoples lives through his music, whether they had the pleasure of actually meeting him or not. He was definitely a legend in my mind, and opened my eyes and ears to metal music, shaping me to be who I am today. Pantera was one of the first metal bands I ever loved, and it was because of Dimebag's amazing guitar work that I fell in love with it and still listen today. He will never be forgotten, because legends never die. He will always be missed and remembered through every music note that is ever played and every chord that is ever heard. He will be remembered through every scream and every beat, and he will always be in all of our hearts.
Never forget and Getcha' Pull. Throw back a blacktooth grin if you're of age and rock out to as much Pantera and Damageplan as possible today, because he deserves it. His legend will live on forever through us, his fans.
Today I will listen to nothing but Pantera. I will wear my Dimebag memorial bracelet, my Dimebag razor necklace, and my Dimebag memorial t-shirt. I will think about every second until it turns midnight, and I will celebrate his life and the amazing masterpieces he left us with.
