I just want to remind everyone of our Original Board. Would based on characters / celebrities count? Well, there was one piece I had done recently, but I doubt it is of any value and it had not been reviewed or grammar / style checked yet by the person I sent it to.

No. "Originals" are for stories with original characters. No characters like Harry Potter or celebrities like Chester Bennington. Hope this helps  |

Based in the sense "the appearance is alike, the character is close, the biography is alike, yet not the person one s/he is based on."
Eg, someone alike to a combo of Robin Grange and JFB, but neither one exactly unless you dig too much into the details.
