You prefer writing in 3rd person? 1st person? You like going into great detail on the surroundings or no? Do you prefer to give background information beforehand or just let the reader find things out as the story goes along?
I'm just trying to get people to chat here...... feel free to post your thoughts ^.^

I prefer writing in 1st person because I find that it's easier to write and it really helps people put themselves into the character.
I try to give details, but I'm not good at it. I'm working on getting better at writing details, though.

I like putting different POV's in there, that way people can see exactly what the characters are feeling. I don't know about my details, sometimes i think that i should put more detail in there but then i think that the details are ok; it depends on the mood i am in you know? xoxoxox

Makes sense! That's why I do different POV's... I think you get a more rounded view of what's going and get everyone's "opinions & ideas".
I try to add as much detail as I can, but I'm sure I could improve.
I'm not very good at writing in 3rd person, never have been. I most definitely prefer writing in 1st person, I think it's easier for readers to get into the main character ^_^

I am mainly focusing on the psychological ascpects, nearly always leaving out the rest abstract and really difficult to understand, in addition to extremely dragged pace and lots of various vocabulary, grammar and spelling mistakes, but punctuation the most.
Also, I had a thing for writing whenever mood strikes and in no order, constantly changing the POVs in each chapter as to which mostly represented it... But now I'm trying to get more organized, and hopefully, it will be so.
Also, thanks to my lack of experience, guys always end up being utterly emotional and feminine, while particular scenes stay as silly as possible and unrealistic to awful degrees.

LOL
As long as you enjoy writing, that's all that really matters. Your writing will progress, at least that's what I've noticed.

LOL I think we always base our characters on real people... after all, don't we have to model them after someone?? LOL

But, uhm, not to he level to make a Sicilian / German / Russian-American with dark auburn hair and who is the best friends with a Pole / Neapolitan-American dark-haired guy, who also are lovers.. sort of?
*blush*
P.S. Forgot the Slovak part too...

... add them both being or turning into werewolves. Obviously, both based on Jon and Richie.

Actually, I was not writing for a long time, so I am back to basics now... researching for one mentioned above and almost working on another one, real life but slightly AU.

If I ever happen to make it readable or finish it at least, The Price of Love might be a perfect title
