We seriously need more members on this site! I used to be on here every single day, reading everyone's updates and updating my own fanfic.. I miss it a lot!  Let's do something to bring it back! Anyone got any ideas? Oh, and p.s., if anyone is still on here that was reading my fic, "Nonstop to Nowhere" I have updated in the past few months.. |

Ah, thank you ^^ I'm very much enjoying it here so far. New forums are such fun ^^ And I love the colour scheme - purple and black is my favourite colour combination! (Though I do have to turn up the brightness on my laptop screen so that I can read it clearly xD)

Oooh awesome! I was hoping to find whoever it was that posted the link ^^ I've been on the lookout for new fanfiction hangouts but I thought I'd found them all, so when I saw your post I was like "Yessssss" *clicks*
I've let the other members of my fanfic group know about this place too :3

Well you found me =) I don't wanna part with this fanfiction place, because everywhere else either doesn't have as much band fanfiction as I like or just doesn't ever have that many members! But lately it's been a little dead. I used to have so many people reading my fanfic, but now nothing |

I feel your pain. I've been a part of so many forums, groups, roleplays and general awesome things that have just died. In fact, when I came here I hoped I might find a couple of people interested in a fanfiction group that I'm part of, which meets up in London - we used to have more members, but a lot of people dropped out or got apathetic so we're trying to revive it a bit - but no-one has shown any interest at all. In fact, no-one has shown interest in any of my threads... it's hard trying to contribute to the activity of a forum when you just get tumbleweed.

I feel your pain. I'd love to meet up, but I'm from the States and would not make it there for many reasons.
I've had a history of people not showing interest in my threads/topics/whatever in the forums/communities I've been in, or if they do, I end up falling out of favor with people so I leave.
I hope your situation changes. <3

geez i agree i think we need more members on here cos i would say i want the same thing with my Bon Jovi Nation messageboards cos there is only 4 members atm

I think the only way to get more members is if you're prepared to plug your group/forum/board like crazy and use every possible avenue. On the internet, there are a lot of places you can do that. So far I've made six different threads promoting my group on various sites, and I have plans to make four or five more. I've also ordered a set of postcards to hand out at conventions. You have to be patient, though, because it won't happen right away. It took like a week before two of my threads suddenly attracted some people, and now we have two or three new members for the group. With the others though, I just have to keep bumping and hoping, and thinking of more ways I can promote the group. You get pretty creative after a while X3
